With the aim of promoting the Sport Diving events, the World Underwater Federation (CMAS) held the 1st Online Workshop 2024, last Saturday, February 17.

The workshop was led by the Frenchman Maxime Larcher, Director of the CMAS Sports Diving Commission, accompanied by the Frenchman Michel Gaunard, President of the CMAS Sports Committee.

In this activity, carried out in 2 sessions (9:00 and 16:00 central European time), members of Federations affiliated with CMAS participated and the events, regulations and equipment necessary for the practice of this sport modality were explained, as well as as the date and venue of the next World Championship of the specialty was announced, which will take place from July 24 to 28, 2024 in Portugal, in which, in addition to the national teams of the federations affiliated with CMAS, they will be able to participate individual athletes will be able to compete through a super license.
