AUSTIN, Texas — Two vehicles reportedly stolen were recovered from Lady Bird Lake this week.

The Austin Police Department said it received a call on Friday, February 2 at around 2:05 p.m. reporting the discovery of a car submerged in the lake while scuba diving in the 1900 block of Nash Hernandez Sr. Road.

The next day, the scuba diver called to report a second vehicle was found submerged near the same vicinity of Lady Bird Lake.

Police say there’s no indication any persons were inside the vehicles at the time the cars were sunk.
