Several divers were injured after a seal bit them in the waters off Oudekraal Beach in Cape Town.

According to the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI), eight people had entered the water to start scuba diving, when a seal swam among them and bit a number of them.

Most of the divers were tourists.
